Chapter 7 — Jnana-Vijnana Yoga — Yoga of Direct and Total Perception

Through shloka 2, Sri Krishna says that I will tell you (Arjun) — विज्ञान सहित तत्त्वज्ञान को सम्पूर्णतया कहूँगा, जिसको जानकर संसार में और कुछ भी जानने योग्य शेष नहीं रह जाता . In shloka 3, Sri Krishna is only saying that out of thousands of persons, only a few persons try to know me, and even amongst these, only few surrender to me wholly to really know my essence.

Shloka 4:

Earth, water, fire, air, ether, mind, intelligence and false ego all of these constitute my separated material energy.

Shloka 5:

Besides these hey Arjuna, there is another superior energy of mine which comprises the living entities who are exploiting the resources, inferior nature. Could you please explain this shloka dada?

Shloka 6:

All created beings have their sources in two nature — material and spiritual and know for sure that I am both the origin and dissolution.

Shloka 7:

Hey Arjuna, there is no truth that is superior to me. Everything rests upon me, as pearls are strung on a thread

Shloka 8:

O son of Kunti, I am the taste of water, the light of the sun, and the moon the syllable on the Vedic Mantras..I am the sound of ether and the ability in man

Shloka 9:

I am the original fragrance of the earth and I am the life of the lives, and penances of all ascetics

The Gita shlokas are delightful — I wish you had access to a Hindi translation to the Sanskrit shlokas.

Dada’s tip on getting energized after a really long day at work, and when day is packed with back to back meetings and committments —

Tips and Tricks to enhance living —

The best & the most effective method to take away your stress when you begin to feel that it is coming in the way of your 100% capability, is to lie down on your back on a hard surface (properly covered by some bed-sheet & blanket) & relax your mind & body, by starting to feel that one by one the muscles of your feet & arms & the back & other parts of the aching body (one after the other) are getting relaxed till you reach your head, & you inhale & exhale slowly & make your breathing slower & slower till you literally begin to dose. Keep your body properly covered by a blanket to keep you warm. This is also known as — Shavasan — शवासन. Do this for about five minutes & you will feel re-energized. May be, you may have done this aasan earlier too.
