Dada on Unpleasant Experiences, and reflections around it -
If something unpleasant happens to you, just bear with it coolly if you cannot avoid it well in time. Could it have been avoided? Was any action of yours, responsible for it happening? What were the components of the unpleasant experience, which made it unpleasant? Was the unpleasantness a subjective experience? Why & how it happened need to be investigated coolly to prevent repetition if it is possible.
Normally, if you do nothing casually, you are not likely to land in an unpleasant situation. This implies that taking all factors into account, is important before doing any thing significant. Usually, if you are always self aware, you are not likely to take a hasty step which you may need to regret. These are some of the ideas that have come to mind. You may add your own insights.
Dada - Spiritual Experience in the Himalayas - I was so filled with the elation of utter silence & the brightness of the Sunlight around me - I can still remember it. (June 1, 2020).
When Dada had climbed the mountains - he was an avid mountain climber, and was into mountaineering.
My question to dada - "What did you do ever when or if you unintentionally hurt someone who you were close with and did not realize you were hurting them?"
Dada - This did happen some times - one could try & make amends, some time it worked, some time it didn't. One has to live with such experiences & with time, they become hazy.
My take on your question - "Did you ever multitask dada" - yes, this must have been the case a number of times when I was Secretary to the Government of UP in multiple departments at the same time for many years.
Mudit,
While multitasking, one has to concentrate on the task one has chosen for a particular moment, planning the day in a manner where you allocate time to different tasks, one by one, according to the convenience of all concerned. At times, you may need to do firefighting pertaining to each task at the same time, but this should not be the ideal way to deal with the routine work of your multitasking.
